Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan - June 9, 2026: A curved lattice arch of metal ribs and thin slats spans the entrance of a white building in Nishi-Waseda, Shinjuku. The structure rises as a tall arch on the left and sweeps down to the right in a long, twisting wave that ends low over a bed of shrubs. Its curved ribs are tied together by crossbars, forming an open grid through which the plain white facade shows. A brick path leads under the arch to a dark glass doorway at the foot of the building. Dense green shrubs, grasses and a few small orange flowers fill the foreground, with trees on the right under an overcast sky.
