Stone staircase and arched patch of orange light on interior wall
Photo: Alpgiray Kelem · Türkiye · 2023-09-09
An arched patch of orange light falls across a high interior wall above a stone staircase. A dark vertical band splits the patch in two, and its lower edge runs in a sharp diagonal. The staircase climbs to a landing with a geometric patterned floor, its wide handrail curving at the turn. Carved stone balusters alternate with metal panels of crossed bars and small rosettes, and their shadows fall across the steps and the veined stone dado behind them. A dark wall cuts a steep diagonal through the lower left of the frame, and a thin red angular frame stands on the landing at the right edge.
