Repeating pyramid-shaped panels forming a geometric pattern on a building facade
Photo: Alpgiray Kelem · Türkiye · 2023-06-04
Rows of pyramid-shaped panels cover a building facade in a repeating geometric pattern. Each diamond-based panel projects outward to a point, with some faces in light and others in shadow, so the surface breaks into alternating pale and dark triangles. Small white lozenges fill the gaps between the panels and run in diagonal lines across the wall. The rows shrink toward the top of the frame, where the facade recedes in steep perspective. In the upper left corner, a black wedge narrows to a sharp point and cuts into the pattern.
