Tokyo, Japan - June 9, 2026: A tall lattice broadcast tower rises into a hazy, overcast sky behind a row of mid-rise apartment and hotel buildings in Japan. The curved eaves of a tiered pagoda frame the right side of the scene, their dark tiled roofs edged with red-painted beams, white rafter ends and gold metal fittings. The tower's white steel frame and its round observation decks fade into the grey sky above the rooftops.
