Bunkyo, Tokyo, Japan - June 10, 2026: A lit paper lantern bearing the katakana name Shinsuke glows beside a wooden entrance on a quiet street in Yushima, Bunkyo, Tokyo. A curtain of hanging ropes covers the upper half of the doorway, and a notice on the wooden door reads PUT ON A FACE MASK. Granite steps lead up from the street to the door. On the left, a stone basin with a metal tap stands among ferns and upright stones; on the right, shrubs and bare branches reach across a vertical wooden lattice that carries two posted notices lit by a small lamp. Dark tiles and dark wooden panels cover the facade above the entrance.
