Kyoto, Japan - June 14, 2026: A person in a gray work uniform, cap and rubber boots sweeps a flight of stone steps with a long straw broom in a moss garden in Japan. Seen from behind, the figure bends over the steps, which climb through a slope covered in bright green moss. Tree roots spread across the moss and around flat stepping stones in the foreground, and a tall tree with reddish, fibrous bark rises on the left. Woven bamboo fences in dark and pale tones enclose the garden, with a bamboo grove behind them. Light filters through the canopy and falls in soft patches on the moss and stones.
