Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan - June 8, 2026: Black taxis wait in a rank in front of the Yodobashi-Akiba electronics store in Kanda-Hanaokacho, Chiyoda, Tokyo, on an overcast day. A few drivers stand beside their cars, and one taxi door carries an Uber logo. Tall vertical billboards cover the curved facade of the building, advertising the Google Pixel 10, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, MacBook Neo, Copilot+ PC laptops and the clothing retailer Uniqlo. Rows of smaller panels show the logos of brands sold or housed inside, and red Japanese signs read Yodobashi Camera Multimedia Akiba. A parking sign on the facade lists 520 spaces and opening hours from 8 a.m. to midnight. Trees and shrubs fill a traffic island in the foreground, while pedestrians cross the street at the right edge of the frame.
