Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan - June 7, 2026: A small flower shop fills the corner of a narrow side street in Jingumae, in Tokyo's Shibuya ward, with potted plants and flowers. Leafy houseplants, flowering pots and wrapped bouquets stand on low wooden platforms along the pavement, under two dark green awnings printed in Japanese with the shop name, Florist Harajuku, and a telephone number. A sign above the entrance shows the Japanese character for flower and repeats the shop name and number. On the left, a vertical signboard advertises Kiku-Masamune sake and a seasonal cuisine restaurant called Nakaya. The floors above have balconies with metal railings, lattice screens and a slatted canopy. The street is empty under an overcast sky.
