Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan - June 8, 2026: A large anime-style billboard for the game NIKKE covers the upper facade of a Sofmap store building in Akihabara, in the Soto-Kanda area of Tokyo's Chiyoda ward. The three-panel advertisement shows illustrated female characters with weapons above Japanese text and the words STAR ANIS. A blue Sofmap sign tops the white tiled building, and an AKIBA amusement hall sign runs above the ground-floor entrance. On the neighboring buildings, a Silk Hat sign, an Akihabara sign in Japanese and English, a billboard with a smiling woman, and vertical ramen and steak restaurant signs line the street. Street trees and a passing car fill the foreground under an overcast sky, while a few pedestrians walk along the sidewalk at street level.
